Pastor Roberts was raised in a Christian home and was saved at the age of nine. After graduating from a Christian school, Pastor Roberts went to Baptist Bible College Canada in Simcoe, Ontario under the direction of the Bethel Baptist Church. Dr. Harry Strachan, Sr. was Pastor Robert’s college President. At college he earned a Bachelor in Theology degree. Later on, he and his wife (Lorelei) moved to St. Thomas, Ontario, where he worked as an assistant pastor at the Bible Baptist Temple. In 1993, God called Pastor Roberts to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to pastor the Maranatha Baptist Church. He has been pastor at MBC for fifteen years and has been used of God as a sound preacher and teacher.
prayer requests
1. Pray for the young men who have started attending our church. These men are saved, but they need to grow in the Lord.
2. Pray for our ongoing King’s Kids Ministry. There are many children and families attending who need to know Christ as their Saviour.
3. Pray for the families in our church who homeschool their children and are in need of financial help.
4. Pray for boldness in our spring door-to-door campaign.
